nojomo: massive laptop FAIL!

I have yet to find a NJM icon that I like, so until I do, I’m not posting one.  Lol.

My laptop charger bit the dust this morning.  The sucker has been in use for THREE weeks!  I’m going to call Toshiba in the morning to see if it’s covered by the warranty, because I’ve got two portrait sessions sitting in Photoshop that need to be edited that I can’t get to.  Fun.  Also: I can’t play the Sims, which makes me sad.

So, here’s hoping I’m able to keep up with NoJoMo without access to my laptop.  I’ve been excited about doing it this year, because I’ve been neglecting my OD a bit lately. 

The weather is gorgeous today, if a little chilly.  If it warms up a bit, I might take the kids to the play ground for a while to get them out of Aaron’s hair.  He’s dealt with them being crazy and wild all week and he needs a break, because he just doesn’t have that level of "kid-patience" that I do.

AND!  I can’t believe I almost forgot to write about this!  Aaron got his financial aid letter in the mail this week, and he starts school on November 23rd.  YAY!  I’m so happy, and so relieved.  He’ll be gone Monday through Friday and home on the weekends, which will be rough while I’m still working, but that’s the schedule he’ll have when he’s actually working, so it’ll give me a chance to get used to it.  He’ll be in school for five weeks, then the school will place him with a company and he’ll start working immediately, which means after his new paychecks start rolling in, I can quit my job and stay home with the kids.  Awesome. 

He’s at the store getting something to fix for breakfast, so I think I’m going to go prep the kitchen for that.  Toodles.
