Ben*x2
Not much going on today, just playing around in PSE. I need to reorganize my hard drive, but the task seems so daunting I don’t even know where to start.
This pic was from March, and it was kinda crap to start with, but after some cropping and a little bit of Lomo, I think it turned out pretty nifty.
ETA: Okay, so maybe someone who is a little more proficient at Photoshop can help me out here. I’m trying to load some photos onto a premade template (from CoffeeTeaPhotography) storyboard, and I can’t seem to get my image to group with the clipping mask.
Here’s what I’m doing: I’m loading the template, then I’m opening the photo that I want to use in the mask. With the template open on the editing screen, I drag the photo from the bin to the main screen, which creates a frame layer. I drag the layer to just above the clipping mask layer, but when I try to press alt and use the mouse hover to get the layer to group with the clipping mask layer, the grouping icon doesn’t show up. It shows up fine between other layers, though. Does this have something to do with the image layer being a frame layer? How do I fix this?
A dozen virtual cookies to whoever can help me out here. 🙂
ETA#2: Nevermind! I figured it out. Just had to get the image on there as not a frame layer. So, once I got the hang of that, I was able to do this:
