new development

Aaron called today; he’s got custody of Jacob until July 6th.  CPS has placed Jacob with him temporarily to give his mom one last chance to pull her shit together.  If she’s not making progress (in AA and NA, coming back to the shelter on time, etc.), then I suppose there will be a permanent transfer of custody.  Which means Aaron will be moving back in, because he has no place to take Jacob on his own. 

I’m fine with that, because I want Jacob to be away from the environment he’s living in.  I’m just worried about how it might affect the delicate balance Aaron and I have going right now, plus everything else.

I’m too tired to give it much more thought than that right now. 

I’m going to go try to finish my story submission for the WriterInATardis Last Author Standing over on LJ.  I’ve only got until midnight tomorrow and it needs a LOT of work…
