nojomo: baby fever
Did anyone else watch Grey’s tonight? OMG. I’m so hooked on that show now. I’ve even got Aaron hooked on it. Lol.
Anyway, work was kind of crappy today. Just a whole bunch of grumpy customers. No one wanted to be nice about anything today. Boo.
So….baby fever.
Yup. I’ve got it. BAD. All these women just keep coming into the store with all of these teeny tiny cute newborns, and I’ve got faves that are pregnant, and faves that just had babies, and all of just puts my ovaries into an uproar. *sigh*
Sadly, Aaron is still convinced he doesn’t want any more kids. I do hope to eventually change his mind, and I think once he’s finally driving and I can stay home full most of his objections will be moot, but we’ll see. I did tell him though that birth control is 100% his responsibility, not mine. He’s the one so adamant about not getting pregnant again, so it’s on him to see that it doesn’t happen.
Logically, though, I’m quite aware that getting pregnant right now would not really be wise. Our house is bursting at the seams as it is. Maybe later on down the road we’ll have another baby or two, but right now it’s just difficult to see all those little babies.
I got a sweet deal on some homeschooling books at work today for Chloe. We’re starting preschool in the fall, and I found several really good math, reading, and writing books for fifty cents each. I’m getting really excited about school for her. I’m going to start doing some loose planning after the new year, because I don’t want to end up just diving in and being disorganized. I want to have at least a road map to follow.
Also – does everyone remember me writing about how winter is supposed to be slow for photography? Well, I’ve only been taking sessions on the weekends since I started working, but I’m pretty much booked with a session every weekend this month. Outdoor sessions. In November. It’s awesome. My session on the fifteenth is actually going to be a double session, and the parents are planning to order prints as Christmas gifts for their entire extended family . I’m excited about that. I’ve got two sessions to wrap up and mail off this weekend, then I’m hoping to buckle down and design my business card.
I’m hungry…gonna go reheat some dinner.
