nojomo: tired

It’s been a long day.  Ben and I went grocery shopping this morning, which was fine.  He’s learned how to wave and say some semblance of "bye-bye," so everyone was getting a wave and a smile.  Too cute, right?  Then we got home, put the groceries away, and I got a call from my manager.  I decided to go into work to night because I missed yesterday.  There were only four of us in the whole building all evening, so it was interesting, but still fun.  It’s a great job.

Then I had to go to Wal-Mart to get the WIC I’d forgotten to get at Kroger.  Naturally I get the worst, slowest, stupidest cashier in the place.

Maybe it’s rude, but I have ZERO patience for slow cashiers.  None.  I’ve been a cashier on and off for over seven years, and I’m a damn good one if I do say so myself.  I’m quick and I’m accurate and I’m polite, so I KNOW it isn’t hard to accomplish.  And we all know I worked at Walmart forever, so I really have to hold back to keep from pointing over the rail and going, "No, honey, push this button."   *eyeroll*

I use self check outs nine times out of ten.

I finally finished editing the newborn session I sneak peeked on my blog a week ago.  If I get around to it, I’ll post pics of the sessions tomorrow evening.

Right now, though, it’s almost midnight and I’m going to go crawl in bed with a warm, snuggly Benjamin.

I REALLY hate bad cashiers. I used to be a cashier at Wal-Mart in my late teens/early 20’s and I had no trouble being fast, accurate and polite. I get so frustrated with how dense and slow most seem to be these days! My biggest pet peeve is when they don’t know how to split a payment. like wanting to pay $100 with cash and say the remaining $50 owed on debit or something. Or when they don’t know how to bag. Ok I’ll stop ranting now!LOL

You seen my rant on dumb cashiers.
