I got it!

I got the job!  *happy dance*

It’s only 15-25 hours a week, and only guaranteed through the holiday season, but that’s just fine.  It’s something to make up for the absence of my unemployment benefits, and hopefully by the time the holidays are over, Aaron will be driving and making $50+K or they’ll want to keep me around.

Best part is the discount – 20% off of EVERYTHING, and it can be combined with the 50% off coupons that run in the Sunday ad every week.  All I’ve got to say about that is cheap Christmas shopping!  They carry Melissa and Doug toys, too.  😀

So, I’m glad I got the job.  I’m not so glad about having to leave my babies, but I guess that’s just what has to be done for now.  And I’m worried I won’t have time for my business, but at least winter is the slow season for photography and I shouldn’t miss a lot.

I’m gonna hop off of the interwebs now and go spend some quality time with my husband.

Driving a semi making 50k? Eek, if he’s starting out he’ll be lucky to make 25k. My dad’s been driving truck since he retired and the only true people who make 50k a year (even though they say you CAN make 50k a year) are the owner operators. Good luck though 🙂 I’m a lurker that reads you and is rooting you guys on.
