Three days later….*
The moment I write an entry saying I’ll be back "tomorrow," was the moment I should have known that every force in the universe would start to conspire against me in order to prevent me doing exactly that.
It’s been a hell of a week so far.
For some reason, all of my classes at school have loaded us down with important-things-that-must-be-perfect-or-I-will-fail-you! assignments, all of which are due by Friday. So, I’ve had my nose to the grindstone.
Plus, my brother called me out of the blue on Sunday, wanting a portrait session for himself and his girlfriend, so I took a couple hours on Sunday afternoon to go do that. (And I was a ditz and forgot to adjust the ISO on my camera, so I shot the entire outdoor evening session at 1600 ISO. Yay for editing out bunches of noise! Or not.)
So, between those things, the kids, Aaron’s friend getting committed (long story…), and my mom calling me every five minutes wanting to know if I’ve got my brother’s pictures done, I’ve only managed to get though I weeding session of the wedding photos.
Apparently, I’m a busy lady.
But, I did manage to cut the photos down from almost 900 to 510, and I’m in the middle of my second cut right now. I figure by the time I’m finished I’ll have between 300-350 shots, which I think is a pretty fair amount for such a small wedding. I promise I will post some the very second I get a few edited.
I might be photographing a birth in the next two weeks, if the mama gets back to me. She’s one of the girls in my homebirth meetup group, and she’s 39 weeks pregnant with her 3rd daughter. I offered to do that one for free, just because I would LOVE to photograph a birth. That would just make my month.
Well, Ben’s down for the evening and Aaron’s in the living room wrangling Chloe, so I’m going to get back to the wedding pictures. Ta!

I just finished up my "final cut," and I’m down to about 350 images. Fun. Anyway, here’s one I just pulled out of the folder. It’s SOOC, except for a slight temperature adjustment during the raw conversion.
I’ll probably do the bulk of the processing over the weekend, so expect a wedding post sometime early next week. (I hope!)
ryn: Definitely look into it! Google green smoothies.. raw vegans definitely need to get into smoothies! 🙂 If anything, adding a green smoothie or more living foods to your diet will definitely be helpful!
