“Tell Your Kids About Snow”
Shouted by a Greenpeace volunteer disseminating the dangers of global warming. I have to admit though this is definitely an upside to it. Like the pretty orange and purple glow of polution that lights up the city sky at sunset, I know it’s bad in the long term but man is it enjoyable right now. When you’re feeling stressed, like you’re carrying the weight of the world on your back, there’s nothign like a bright sunshiny day to lighten the load (can you tell I was born on the first day of summer!) I took full advantage of the nice day and headed for the park. Explored and people watched and hiked and was too happy to sit still. I’m paying the price a little now with a small sun burn and sore muscles but it was definitely worth it. Tomrrow it’s off to the beach! (maybe I’ll actually get some reading done this time…)
My cousin Michael is 8 today. It’s easy to remember his birthday cause it’s on tax day. I can’t beleive he’s 8 already! I turned in my taxes early; i’m one of those lucky evil people who still gets money BACK from the IRS — you can all start throwing the virtual rotten fruit now — so of course I wanted to get it done as soon as possible.
I posted my summer sublet ad last night on Craigslist and have already received almost a dozen responses. I don’t know why but i havent’ responded to any of them yet. Gotta get on it!
