Talked to the Prof

Yana was right, a lot of other ppl made the same mistake. I came in there looking panicked and about to cry (not too much of a stretch actually) and he todl me not to worry, that many other ppl made the same mistake and he’s decided not ot penalize anybody for it. We’re gonna get the questions we missed as a take home to be turned in with the final. No extra length either. Same as if we took it in class. I was sooooo relieved. He asked me how i felt I did besides that and I said i think I did well. Then I said jokingly that I may be in for another surprise when we get them bakc though. And he said I probably did do well and that I did well on the first exam and that I’m doing fine in the course. Taht was really cool cause there’s about 40 ppl in the course so I didnt’ expect him to remember me specifically and how well I did or didn’t do. I know there’s a lot of evalutation that goes on by the profs to see who gets inot PhD and who doesn’t and its very cutthroat. It’s good to know I’m still towards the top of the pile. The funny thing is I don’t even know if i want to go here for PhD. But I need to keep my grades up just in case I do. And also for when I apply other places. But now i”m feeling much much better. This means I’ll get at least one A this quarter (provided I do well on the final) and now i cna work on pulling substance abuse up to an A. Anyway, time for class
