So Poor
I’m so poor that yesterday I went to the park and the ducks threw bread at me! Though it is 8 days until pay day, or as I say, Payus Dayus because i’m quirky. I get to see my friends this month too which is epic as I haven’t seen any of them, nobody, not one, completely alone for the past 3 months which has been hard. I can’t even play online games with them as I don’t have the same games *sniff* but luckily I managed to get 4 days off work where I can have an epic time with the chaps! HUZZAH! I also get to see Eddie Izzard! *life changing*
So to occupy my time I have invented a fantasy world where I am a tank commander in WW2, I say invented, I just play an online tank game and get far too involved in it. That said, today I finally got enough money and experience to unlock the Stug III!!!

It’s a mouthful so it just gets called the Stug. I put the faithful crew from my Hetzer tank in it and they’re pretty damn well trained so the tank performs a little better than those people who like me have just unlocked the Stug. Luckily, I can transfer the crew into the JagdPzIV when I get that too but will need a new crew member when I get the Jagd Panther as that takes 5 crew to man it and the Hezter, Stug and PzIV take 4 crew to operate. I also have a British Alecto which i’m very happy with and about 6-7 other assorted tanks.

I’m waiting for my CRB to come through the post as it arrived in Liverpool on Tuesday? I think and is being posted here to Sale so it should be here by tomorrow as it wasn’t in todays post.
I cannot wait to see my friends! I am very excited indeed! It shall be a few days of gratuitous violence, unhealthy food, ridiculous conversation and awful films. I have missed it so much! Not saying I haven’t enjoyed spending time with Eve but we need a bit of time apart before it kills us both. She keeps asking me when it is, I think she is more excited than me to be honest. I am pretty excited though.
I had a plan that I get a job here in Sale and everything would work out and instead it’s all gone to shit and I am more isolated then I have ever been. Poorer than I have ever been and surprised that my mental health has stayed so stable for this long. It’s like I can’t really feel the loneliness because there is something stopping me from feeling it, probably gratuitous tank battles thanks to wargaming.net and the fact that some of the customers in Quicksilver seem to have accepted me now and use my name and smile and chat to me. At first I think they were a bit unsure but now I think we are OK. There has always been Seamus and Angela who talk to me, Seamus likes me because I’ve Irish blood and Angela likes me because it’s so easy to take the biscuit with Cosmin and I make good coffee!
There are tensions between the managers still, obviously but Cosmin was great with me yesterday and Jennie has always been great with me, I haven’t seen Paulette in a while since her birthday but we get along great too so it’s not so bad going to work. I don’t mind it that much. I’ve started my keyholder training which apparently is just me managing the store and having the keys. There are some keys you can’t have though at all because they access the insides of the machines and that is a very dangerous place to be. Not for me as they’re all just basically windows PC’s linked up to a cash counter and money hopper so I could find my way around them easy enough but they are very expensive units and they have usb ports in the machines which I thought was an odd choice of thing to have. It could lead to tampering, there are many ways to transfer games onto hard drives for the machines but apparently USB is the easiest despite the obvious security risks involved. There are blu tooth usb’s and viruses on usb’s that can be easily uploaded if you have the key to cheat the machine and steal from it. Where as a hard drive duplicator would allow you to easily add new games from another more secure device and so i’m rattling. I just thought it was odd is all.
Cosmin thinks there is a conspiracy in head office that the new machine they sent us is secretly about to break completely as it has been here for a month, less than that and it’s been broken down at least 3 times and needed an entirely new CPU and wasn’t counting the floats correct. It was dropping nearly 10% of what was put in it from the system during a refill. This is bad, because if you stick £1000 in a machine then £100 goes missing, it’s very hard to find as the paperwork all says it’s gone. It’s a mess. Shakes fist at World of Games machine *shakes*
Also, in other news a scientific study shows that looking at boobs increases heart health! Its good for you! So you’ll all thank me for this.
