No it’s not

Many people are screaming "Racism". I’m calling "Foul".

It’s not racism that discourages people from wanting a Muslim Center built near ground zero. (Yea, yea, yea, I know, 2 blocks away, I’m well aware of it) It’s that people don’t want salt rubbed in their wounds. It’s not that I, we, or any one else think that Muslims are horrible people. They are not. But building a Muslim Center any where near that location is like Building a Tribute to the terrorists. And I know what your going to say ….’Well, your suggesting all Muslims are TERRORISTS!!’, No, I’m not. But the Terrorist carried out their executions in the Name of Islam. "Well, no one would complain if they built a CHURCH near the location of the former federal building in Oklahoma City, and Tim McVeigh was a CHRISTIAN!" Tim McVeigh wasn’t killing in the name of religion. He was protesting government and no one has suggested putting a Tax office at the location.

We have become so damned OBSESSED with political correctness in this country, that we don’t even get pissed off any more when some one takes a PISS right on our shoe!

And holy Macaroni if you say "Hey, Fucker! Your pissing on my SHOE!"

Because the guy next to you will say "Hey, you can’t say that to him! Its a Free country! He has the right to piss where ever he wants, and if you don’t let him, your a shoe-pisser-hater-racist!"

"But its MY fucking SHOE!!"

"It doesn’t matter. It’s his right!"

So, you don’t say anything to the guy who is pissing on your shoe, and now all day you are walking around with a wet, foul smelling pissed up shoe. And when you get home, you wash it, but no matter how much you clean it, it always smells faintly like Piss.

And that’s the kind of thing that builds resentment. At first, you just hated the guy who pissed on your shoe, but now, you were forced to bite your tongue and swallow your pride or be ridiculed for standing up for yourself. Now, you hate the guy who pissed on your shoe, you hate the guy who accused you of being a shoe-pisser-hater-racist and now you hate yourself. When all of this could have simply been avoided by that guy having just an ounce of courtesy and NOT pissing on your shoe.

No, it does NOT make you a racist to not be in favor of a Muslim Center in this chosen location. It means you are a Human being with thoughts and feelings and emotions, And you simply won’t tolerate someone pissing on your shoe, because damn it, its just not NICE!

And if the world were filled with more people who were just NICE and thoughtful and courteous , then none of this would even be an issue.
