Sickness

Well this weekend definitely did not go as planned!

I started feeling kind of sick with a sore throat on Thursday.  I took a bunch of meds Thursday night and Friday morning and went to work on Friday.  I got off at 3 and headed over to Zach’s.  I was really feeling pretty bad by this point but stopped to get more meds and figured that would work.  I took a dose and laid on his couch for ahwile while he hung out with his friend that was over.  By this point I was feeling absolutely awful!  His friend left and he came in to sit by me.  I told him I thought I had a fever so he took my temp. and it was 99.6. Not too bad, but still not good.  He made me some chicken strips but I felt sick to my stomach so I couldn’t even eat them.  He decided to still go to his work party cuz his friends were calling him about it and said for me to just sleep on his couch until he got back.  He even let his dog on the couch to lay by me which he usually isn’t allowed.  He also brought me in a cup of ice water, a pitcher of ice water (in case I needed a refill), some NyQuil and a few other things.  So sweet! =)  As soon as he left I REALLY started feeling sick and ended up throwing up 3 times. =(  I laid on his couch in and out of sleep until he came home around 11:30 and we went to bed.  I woke up the next morning and threw up again!  Then fell back asleep until noon.  He headed out to another Christmas party with his friends and Grace and her bf came to pick me up and bring me home because I was so sick I could not even drive!  I spent the rest of the day Saturday in bed.

Sunday we had everyone from my dad’s side of the family over for Christmas but I was still sick so I had to stay in my room all day.  I watched "The Carrie Diaries" on Netflix and slept a bit. 

I finally feel sort of better today, but definitely still sick.  I’m at work now.  After work I’m going to Zach’s.  We were supposed to go to the Botanical Garden’s tonight to see the lights display with Grace & her bf but I just don’t feel up to it.  It’s very very cold out today too.  Zach ended up having to work OT so he’s not really up to it either.  I hope we can make it before it shuts down on Jan. 3!

Tomorrow we get off work 4 hours early which is nice!  After work I am going home for my family’s Christmas.  My brother and his fiance will be coming down and we will open gifts.  They are leaving on Christmas day to go to her parent’s house and I am hoping to get to spend some time with Zach!  Then back to work on Thursday.
