Stupid roommate. (Edit.)

Please allow me to tell you just how stupid my roommate is. She has been working at the same place for 2-3 years. She doesn’t make much, but she doesn’t have a lot of options because she doesn’t have her GED. I think she lucked out by getting on at this place. ********** She has spent the last several days at her sister’s house, and usually she stays home when she works the next day. So when it came to be her day to work, I sent her a text asking if she made it in ok. She told me she got approved last minute for a week off. Hmm… Suspicious. So tonight she finally came home. She told me she got a job offer. She should start sometime next week. I told her she should tell them she needs to give 3 weeks notice. Because if she does, she gets her PTO payout that adds up to about $1,000. So she told me she already quit. A week of vacation my ass! But that’s not even the best part. ********** Let me tell you about this “job offer” she got. It’s for some assistant job at an IT company. She did the interview over the phone and got hired over the phone. She said it’s located downtown, but couldn’t tell me where exactly. The company is relocating here from Canada. And they are sending her a money order so she can purchase office supplies for them and finish setting up their office. ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME?! This has scam written all over it! I need to kick her out before she can’t afford her rent and it’s too late for me to find someone else. Geezus. ******************** Edit: So, update. She said she did give her job 3 weeks notice. She told them 3 weeks ago and didn’t say a word to me! But anyway that means Saturday was her last day and she does get the payout. Since I fully believe this job she got is a scam, and she’s planning on spending that money on a computer for herself and one for her sister, I can’t let her stay. I want to get her rent for this month and then tell her she has 30 days. And maybe the job will turn out to be real but I don’t really care. I’m done with her anyway.
