Creepy Crawly!

The weekend went by too fast. On Friday I went to my parents place for my sisters birthday party. My parent’s bought a fire table and planned on us sitting out there around it. http://www.amazon.com/patio-lawn-garden/dp/B0083CJXSW  It wasn’t working though so my Dad had to exhange one of the parts for something else (I think it was the regulator.) He had it working the next day. Inside the bowl there are what look like gemstones, it is pretty cool.

Today I was going to get a few things from the grocery store. I was in front of the sink and heard this weird creepy rustling noise then the plopping sound of something falling from the ceiling. I screamed as I saw it unexpectedly dropping into the line of my vision. It was a centipede! I know they can bit and with the zillions  of legs I knew putting it on a magazine and setting it outside was not an option.

It was already in the sink so I closed the drain and turned on the water. Then I felt bad for the little thing. so I ripped apart some magazine pages and used it as a raft. Then I put it outside. There was a strong wind and later only the page remained a while later. I hope I don’t start to get centipedes in my place regularly. They are so creepy.

Everything at the grocery store was so expensive. So I just bought lean sirloin burgers and some trident. Then I went to Mcdonalds to get coffee & a muffin. On my way back to my place I saw one of the neighborhood dumpster divers. He had an extremely large garbage bag full of his bounty of bottles and cans. he crossed my path and commented on the rain.

Then  he stopped to look through a dumpster. I commented on how many bottles & cans he had and asked if he did that every day. He said yes and then mentioned his competition an elderly dumpster diver who was just behind him. Then he said about 10 years ago he had asked the condo and apartment owners in the area for their permission to dumpster dive. I smiled and said he did my recycling for me.

I’m not fond of any bugs that are super squiggly like that.

Eww, I don’t like centipedes at all. We get tons of them in the office at work in the fall every year, so creepy!

I’m not a big fan of centipedes… but not to creep you out but from my experience, usually when you see one, it is likely you may see another (it’s like they travel in pairs lol)
