To not dealing with the parking hassle by moving somewhere else would be great, if I had an endless supply of money that is. I live in a good area, I am three blocks from work. The housing prices are crazy here. I can only afford a place in the inner city area. There I would be more at risk for  my place being broken into.  And it would be a further commute to work. I live three blocks from there now.

I had looked into buying a place. But I did the calculations and if I do that I will no longer have much for savings to fall back on. So for now getting a house or condo isn’t realistic for me.

I woke up to a charley horse in my leg. When I get them the area will be sore for a whole day. I need to drink more water.  I am going to start to go through my extra things this week so I have more space. I gave in again when we went to garage sales this weekend. I bought 2 of these mugs in blue. And otherwise I was pretty good at not getting anything. We went to one garage sale run by elderly people. Karl hit hit head when he started to walk out of the garage door which was up.  So they were asking how tall he was and then how short I am. And one of the ladies asked Karl if he was a cop. They had a DVD recorder there and I wasn’t sure if it was the same as a player. So I was telling Karl to look at the manual before he bought it.

Then the people there started talking "That player is brand new we never used it. Too complicated for us. You people are young enough that you could probably figure it out fast. We just want something we can turn off, turn on & use.  And I was looking at a glass tray one one of the ladies was trying to get me to buy it. On top was this glass round thing. I had no idea what it is. Then she said it was the turning plate from a microwave. She said she used it to put veggies on or something like that.I just said "oh ok." It made me think of a skit from a comedy show.

I worked for a few hours today. So I get to leave work tomorrow at 2. I have to work next Saturday as well. We are having a carnival for work. So I have to take a day off because I usually don’t work weekends. I was going to take the Tuesday after that off because Monday is a holiday for me. But a few other co-workers are doing that. So I may take this friday off.
