Christmas gifts…..ahhhh!!

Funny how I can find out someone has gotten me a $25 gift voucher….and I suddenly spend $40 sending them chocolates….

Also I found out that my sister in law (the generous one who spent like $85US just to ship all my kids a huge box of clothes) was sending us another package with Christmas presents…..So I had to then send her family some (which I can’t afford, wasn’t planning on). Further to that, my WHOLE FAMILY is spending Christmas AT this sister in law’s house, so I couldn’t send her family some and not some for everyone else….so suddenly, I have to shop for MY entire family. Well, 3 couples and 6 kids. Managed to do it for $70US and free shipping (thank you Amazon!)! I actually got some really great gifts for each of them, I love pre-Christmas sales!

Anyway, the bonus is Ali got a nice tidy sum of money for a bonus for work…meaning we will actually have enough for these extra expenditures, plus a couple more things to add to our own kid’s Christmas experience (which was looking rather miserable really) AND even have a little left over to buy ourselves/each other a special something. What a blessing to work for a company who show’s it’s appreciation at Christmas!

Anyway, all is well and still intact. Feeling the heat, feeling a bit suffocated…but the boy is well and healthy and BIG! Midwife reckons he’s gonna be a 9-10 pounder, based on if he makes it full term or over. Bring on the epidural!! lol
