Changeup

We have had a major mixup in our rooms layout this past weekend. It is rather disconcerting actually….can’t say it’s something I’ve ever done before. But, I know it will be a good change for all involved 🙂

Before, we had the biggest bedroom as ours, the girls each had a room, and Ali had his mancave.

Now, Ali’s mancave houses my computer too, Anna’s old room is our room, Ella’s old room will be the baby room, and Our big old bedroom is now the kidcave, lol. It’s got two beds (queen and double, as that’s what we have!), along with a corner for their toys, and the small tv and dvd player setup. They LOVE IT!

I’m not quite organised yet from the move, And most of my clothes are in a pile in the baby’s room. Also, all my baskets of makeup and junk are piled in the baby cot which is still standing in our bedroom. I think I’ll be selling that one. We have a white cot and a wooden cot…as we needed 2 for a while for the girls. Anna is doing well so far in the big bed, but we will see. And I feel better putting my baby boy in a wooden cot rather than a pretty white sleigh cot. Funny that!

I’m really struggling today for motivation, I think I need to take my iron pills again. I am up twice in the night, and with going to sleep after midnight and waking at 8, that’s just not enough sleep for poor pregnant me! When I was pregnant with Ella I was going to bed at 8 and sleeping in until 7 when I HAD to get up for work. On weekends it was later than that!

I still struggle with feelings that this will be too much for me. Some days I just can’t cope with 2 kids….how the heck will I handle 3?? I suppose it will be a blessing that I will have my Ella in morning kindy starting in Feb, I think 8:30-12:30 mon-fri. Will be good for her, and I can have that quality time with my baby and my Anna.

Oh well, one day at a time. For now, I must go choose a winner for my chocolate giveaway!! 🙂

Me! I’m kidding. I live too far away. 🙂 Wow, that is quite a rearrangement of rooms. I had to read it twice to try and make sense of it. lol. I definitely agree with living one day at a time. I need that, too, because I have to wait for this medication to kick in. We can do it, though!

Wow that sounds huge. Sounds like a good move though, especially if it works in the long term. You’re going to fit this new bubba into your family just beautifully. You’ve done two already, so you know exactly what to do. It’ll be ok. xx
