Cycle and glasses

It feels like it should be 5 or 6 pm, not just 3.  I took the kids out this morning to pay the water bill and did some quick shopping.  I picked up a pregnancy test because my period was pretty much nonexistant this month.  I’m not sure what is going on with that.  I had some spotting and that was pretty much it.  Oh well.  The test was negative by the way, but not sure how much that says cuz I kept getting negatives until I was 14 days late with Ethan.  I’m not saying i think I am pregnant or anything, because I am on birth control.  I just don’t know what is up with my cycle.

My head is hurting from eyestrain.  I was driving this morning, and noticed my glasses were lopsided on my face.  I took them off to see why, and they just fell apart into two halves, broken right down the middle.  How does that happen?!  I don’t have bad vision at all really, but it does correct the astigmatism.  I get headaches from it, and where I have worn the glasses for a few years now, it causes my near vision to be blurry when I don’t wear them.  I could order a cheap pair from EyeBuyDirect.  Although, our new dental and eye insurance starts next month, which means I will get a free exam and pair of glasses if I can wait until then.

I bought some water squirters and water balloons this morning.  The kids have been busy outside with those (with my supervision of course).  I also dug out the octopus sprinkler,  Ethan sat playing with it for a good 30 minutes.  He is such a water baby.  I can’t wait to take them back to the pool.  

For Fathers Day, Owen and I baked Jamie cupcakes.  He also got a card, and free dinner and movie voucher from me 😛  I cooked him a steak dinner too on Saturday.  Nothing to extravagant, but still enough to say "hey, we appreciate you".  We went to visit with my dad and mom yesterday for a little while.  I had to take Dad his birthday gift (which was over a week ago, but we were away at the beach), and mom wanted to see the kids.  She had surgery on Friday, so she was pretty much stuck to the couch.  She had some scar tissue adhesions removed, and she had an unusual hernia.  We didnt’ stay long cuz I didn’t want theboys tearing up their house.  I think she is supposed to be off of work for 3 weeks or so.

I have a lot that I want to write about, but it is killing my eyes/head squinting to see the screen.
