Sheer panic ***

…is the feeling of when you realize your 2 year old is being way too quite, walk through the house and see the front door is standing wide open. OH MY GOD.  How the hell does he keep getting doors open?  Luckily, he was standing in our neighbors yard just across the street.  What if a car had come speeding down the street (like they tend to do)?!  We tried the baby proof door knob covers.  He pulls until they pop off.  We tried taping them so that they were harder to pull apart.  We installed those sliding chain locks, and he still got outside (he had pulled a chair to the door to stand on to reach).   The neighbors probably think I am a really incompetent mom 🙁  I don’t know what else to do, barring tying him up (it is a joke.. I would never tie up my kid!) .  Why are my kids like this?  I have never met anyone with such difficult children 🙁  I don’t think I can handle the stress of having more.  My boys are such a handful.  Just before the whole incident with him getting outside, I was on the phone, and I hear the bathtub running.  Ethan is sitting in the bathtub fully clothed holding his pillow with the water on full blast.  SMH. Thankfully, Owen has gotten to the age where I can trust him a bit.  He knows not to run off and that he shouldnt do certain things.  Ethan on the other hand, has no fear.  He has no sense of "hey this could be dangerous" or "hey this might hurt".  If I don’t die of a heart attack by the time I’m 30, it will be a surprise.  Ethan will climb onto anything and just jump off.  I don’t know what to do with him.

I keep forgetting to take a pic of Jamie’s hair to post.
