9/4/07

It is Tuesday morning right now. I had such a crazy and busy weekend. First things first, we get the internet back on Thrusday so we won’t be without it that long at home so that is a very good thing. Friday morning I came into work early. I got here at 6 so I could leave at 2:30. After work I went to the chiropractors apt and from there I went home. They had just started to move stuff around 3 on Friday. They had quite a lot of stuff done by the time I got there. My Mom was already cleaning the bathroom and such. I really couldn’t do to much. We got pizzas for everybody for dinner. There was about 10 people in all over there helping move. It is nice knowing that there will be people there to help you when you need it. We didn’t get much unpacked on Friday night. Just the important things, then Kevin and I crashed.

Saturday we went over to my Mom and Dad’s apartment to help them move. Talk about another long day. Kev and I got to my parents place about 10am and we didn’t get home until after 9pm. They still had a ton of stuff to move though after we called it quits, we were all just way to tired to do anything else.

Sunday Kev and I Went grocery shopping. While there my sister called me and asked me what I thought about everyone getting together and having a picnic at the beach on Monday. I thought that it was a good idea. My parents were iffy about it because they still had a ton of stuff that needed to me move. Kevin and Kim’s fiancée volunteered to go over there and help them move stuff again. Kevin got there about 2 in the afternoon and stayed until about 9 at night. Jon and my Dad were moving stuff until 2 in the morning. They got all the garage done. Now I think all they have left is the basement. While Kevin was over there I started to unpack over at the new apartment. I was pretty impressed with what I got done. I got all the boxes unpacked and everything put away except for one box of knick knacks and the box of pictures. I think that is pretty good for only working on it for one day, and doing laundry in between.

Monday we met up at my sister’s house about 9:30am. It was me, Kev, Mom, Dad, Jen, Shaun, Kim, Jon, Mia and Lexi. Kevin’s parents and Grandpa met us there later in the day. We were lucky enough to find to picnic benches next to each other, only problem was there was no gril in sight. Jon and my Dad went back to the house and picked up the grill and brought it there so we were able to cook on it. The girls had a blast playing on the beach n the sand. They though that it was the coolest thing in the world. The boys went fishing. They didn’t catch anything though. That didn’t stop Kev. He had me get him up at 5am this morning so he could go out and try it again. He has the itch really bad.

Get this. He goes back to work On Thursday. Then he has 2 weeks of work (not the whole to week obviously) and then he has 2 months off. I can’t believe it just about Autumn. I have been seeing more and more leaves changing colors. They are so pretty. It is my favorite time of the year. I told Kevin in a few more weeks that I wan to go to Letchworth State Park so we can go and look at the leaves.

The more and more time I spend with the girls the more I see them changing into own little people. I don’t think of them as babies anymore. As sad as that is, it is a good thing. They are growing up so fast.

In case if you are wondering, I am starting to get better. I still have a cough but I don’t feel nearly as bad as I did. Well break is over, back to work. I will try to keep up with you guys the best I can until I get the internet back at home. Hope everyone had a great Holiday weekend.
