Today is just one of those days that you want to lay in bed and sleep all day way. Unfortuntley I can’t. This cold/sinus thing is really kicking my butt. I am not the only one though. It seems like everyone all over is getting sick with one thing or another. Hopefully it clears up soon so I feel like I can function like a normal human again.
Kevin helped me pack 3 boxes last night and we went out to get ice cream. Now there isn’t to much left that can be packed. Things that we aren’t going to use before we move. Hopefully I can get a box or two done tonight
Tonight I am going to see my Aunt Kathy. Her and Unlce Phil are leaving to go back to South Carolina either tonight or early tomorrow morning. I had fun while they were here. I really want to try and go on vacation there next year
Kevin is going to try and get his shift off on Thursday so he can help get some last minute stuff done before we move things. I haven’t asked my boss about coming in early on Friday yet. I will a little later on today.
Today the weather is beautiful. In the mid 80’s and sunny. No humidity that is always a good thing. It is sad that summer is almost coming to an end. I have seen leaves that are changing colors already. Fall is my favorite time of year.
We have an audit at work today. That means I have to behave. Fun stuff…not.
I hope everyone has a great day and is more awake than I am 🙂

A few more things to add..

Kev asked me what I wanted for my birthday and our Anniversary. My birthday is Sept 20th and our Anniversary is on the 24th. I told him I wanted a ring. He asked me what kind, I told him an engagemnet ring. He said that he doesn’t have any time off between then and now to pick on out. He said he has been thinking about it a lot lately. I think that when he has the time off in October/November we may go shopping for rings. That is very exciting.

One of the other temps talked to our temp rep yesterday because he wanted to know what was going on as far as the layoffs. He told him that there aren’t going to be any more layoffs. Those three people were let go for certain reasons that he could not discuss (the quality of the work) not becuase things are slow. That makes me breathe a little easier
