OD Anniversary

I just recently passed my 2 year mark with Open Diary. It is wild. I can’t believe how much I have changed in the past two years. This is a glimpse from my first real entry.

"Even though that I have lost a lot of weight, 85 pounds so far and I know that now I weigh around what a person my age should, there are still times when I fell like everyone is looking at me and that I am not good enough. I know that there is no reason that I should feel this way. I have come a long way though. In high school I was always picked on for being the "fat girl" and to cover that up I was painfully shy, I would never stand up for myself. I was always in the corner. I never went to any dances and really didn’t enjoy my high school years. There are times that I wish that I could just relive them how I am now. I was talking to a friend of mine who I met online, Jill, and she said that she think that some people are meant to be overweight and come out of it to teach people who have not been overweight that those who are, are real people to and deserve to be treated with respect.

I am 21 years old, almost 22 now and I have never had a boyfriend, never been on a date. I know it is sad. There are times that I really beat myself up over it, and think that I will never meet someone and end up alone for all of my life. I know that I really shouldn’t do that. I have begun to go out now, that I have confidence in myself. Hopefully the more that I will go out the more confidence I will have in myself.

Yeah, I would say that I have changed a lot since then. It is strange reading back on my life before Kevin. I can’t remember what my life was like before he was in it. I really don’t care to either. It is much better now that he is in my life.

I haven’t packed any boxes today. Kev didn’t do any either. He was out fishing today. Maybe I can convince him to do some tomorrow while I am at work.

Kevin only had tomorrow and next Monday off while my Aunt and Uncle are giong to be here. So hopefully we can work out one of those days to go and see them because he really wants to . Saturday we are having a get together at my Aunt’s house. It will be lots of fun I am sure. The girls are going to be there. Anytime they are there it is always fun.

It is cold today. Like barely 60 degrees.It seems very strange…like Fall. I know everyone who is in the heat wave would love those temps. Tomorrow it is supposed to be 70 and then Wednesday it will be 80.

I am off to go and spend some time with Kev. Have a great night!
