7TH HEAVEN

This past Thursday my daughter became 7 years old…………7 years, dam that went by fast, when I called her to wish her happy birthday she was in the middle of eating, but I had to talk to her. She grabs the phone from her mother and yells out” HI DAD!” like she was really glad to hear from me, she told me that she was 7 years old and that she got a visit from the tooth fairy, when she told me she got a quarter for the tooth fell out,lol. Since her mom and brother are going threw some very hard times as of late, it made me want to be a better father to her if you can believe that, cause nobody is promised tomorrow…….nobody, some of the most wealthy, powerful people in this world can’t escape death, and being that her brother’s father was around my age…….it shocked me, so I don’t want her mom to half to explain why I would not call her anymore or talk to her……..so for me I had to hear her tiny voice(well actually its pretty loud) and I had to let her know that I do love her and I am glad she came into my life, because you never know. I told her mom that I would be sending her something in the mail for her birthday, they will be out of town at her brother’s funeral, so im going to get it to them before they get back to north Dakota………….but I hope she had a good birthday, and I hope that this will be the start of something new, its been a long hard 7 years……….but I think it will lighten up alittle now, I hope it does. HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABY, daddy love you to death……………….SO SAY WE ALL.
