Home, Sweet Home!

I arrived home Thursday evening, on a much delayed flight (imagine that)! We got on the plane right on time, the jet-way moved away when it was supposed to and then the announcement said that everyone had to get off. It had something to do with the air traffic controller in Newark and I do not know what or why, except that we were all, once again, waiting in the Louisville terminal for a sign or signal from above. Once airborne, the flight was smooth.

I worked yesterday and laid pretty low today. I hurt my arm/shoulder/neck/rotator cuff

from pulling my suitcase, laptop, etc through the airport maze on both ends of the trip. It was heavy and I did something to my right side. I can’t lift or stretch out my arm without a shooting pain in the bicep area. I ran to the chiropractor this morning and had a massage this evening, in an effort to ease it. The good news is that I don’t have to go back next week. I am set up to work remotely – YAY!

Other than that, all is well and I am happy to be home. I really get home-sick when I am away.

After a balmy week we have been promised snow for tomorrow. The latest I heard is 3-6 inches. At this point, I have winter up and above my eyeballs, since our snow started in October this year. I could use some lounging on the deck.

Srsly. I am sick of snow too. I hope your shoulder feels better soon. It’s not fun being constrained when trying to move around. Glad that you have your remote access set up!! Cool! I lurve working remotely.

It’s great that you can work remotely. I’d get homesick too. Last week’s weather was bizarre – 6 inches of snow Monday and temperatures in the 70’s this past weekend.

Hey there Jo-Ann…still here waiting and hoping that we can be friends again. My reason was totally honest…and stupid(why I got upset that is).

It was SO good to see your note!! I hope that all is going well with the job. I know how it is to be caught up in something. Chris and I are having our own stuff to deal with right now. Hope you are well. We are hanging in there!!! :))
