Sunday, Already

It is Sunday evening and I have no idea where the weekend went. I just had my massage and feel great.

This morning I cleaned, as we were having a few business partners over for some training. Yesterday morning, which was the first time I drove, since hurting my foot (which is still a little swollen), I picked up a friend and we went to the Chiropractor. She took me out for breakfast and the rest of the day Linda and I puttered around. The day was very pleasant and went fast.

We are looking around for a great-on-gas car for Linda. We, of course, want the impossible – great gas mileage, reasonable price, very comfortable seats and electric everything. She test drove two so far, which is important for making a good decision. I did that with my Subaru and am very happy with the Forrester. It is not that great on gas, however.

ABC has a test at the below address to see who’s campaign statements, McCain’s Or Obama’s, you agree with most. They don’t tell you who made the statements, of course, but a statement made by each candidate on the same topic (economy, immigration, judiciary, etc.) will be side by side.

You just pick which statement you agree with and, after selecting all 13, you’ll find out which candidate’s philosophy you support.

Tomorrow is back to work and I am working at home. (Yay)! I am supposed to have my 4th job interview on Friday. The recruiter is trying to set it up, so I am playing the waiting game.

try the Prius. Despite what the labels say, we’re actually getting somewhere between 51 and 52 mpg. It really helps if one learns to drive carefully, but even if you don’t (like my friend), you could likely get 46 mpg. I don’t think we can beat that with anything else on the market right now. There may be significant wait-times, and at last I checked, they were going for around $21K basic. <P> I did one test like that awhile back, and ended up supporting the libertarian or some other such wacko. Hey, I resemble that remark. take care
