Big Boomers

Happy August! We are in the midst of the second major thunderstorm today. Linda and I were swimming and saw how black the sky had become. We thought better of staying in the pool and got dressed and went out to the gazebo to take some photos. The rain poured down and when we realized the roof was leaking, we came back into the house.

I just came back in from taking some more photos. The sky looks very eerie. It became black against sun kissed treetops and I knew there had to be a rainbow out there somewhere. (I was right). It’s still raining and thundering, but not as bad as it was. I guess if we did not loose power by now, we won’t. I have not yet uploaded these photos, but I have some others.

Lady Red – a female Cardinal was prancing back and forth on deck, until she said, "Enough", and flew away.

They’re mushrooms, but look a lot like seashells to me. They just started growing on some mulch.

Talked to friends back home and they said the boomers were pretty bad. I absolutely love your photos especially the mushrooms … they do look like sea shells. Enjoy your Sunday. 🙂

Whisper In The Wind

My puppy plays w/ tanker. Tanker is a HUGE pitbull, very sweet dog. But my puppy is dachsund/ chihuahua. Not little, but when the two of them play tug-of-war… well, it is a bit … uneven… and humorous. Have a great day.
