Equal Time…

…For flowers! I have been so caught up with Lucy and Kody that I have not posted any flower photos. I have been taking them, just not posting.

These Water Lilies are my current favorites.

This is a type of Lily [Tiger Lily?].

And another type of Lily.

This is a Water Hyacinth and this week they started blooming like crazy. These plants float on the water and can be very invasive. We are going to over-winter them in the pool room in some sort of container that Linda will build under the steps.

Miscellaneous Pond Life – aka Kody!

And of course – the Playing Dogs! They are really bonding and when they are not killing each other, they are very sweet together.

Yesterday in the early morning I weeded and then we removed algae from the pond. I see about 8 baby Goldfish, 4 Goldfish, about 5 inches long and only two Koi. I would like a few more Koi, but am still concerned about predators, so I will leave things be for a while.

Monday, which is already tomorrow, it’s off to PA for me again. Have a great day.

I love Tiger lilly’s!! Glad to hear that Kody and Lucy are still getting along even if they have times of wanting to maim each other. That’s how it is with Molly and Sampson. For some reason the frogs are starting to be afraid of me around my house. :))

Have you ever had any of those Lily Pads that are the size of a Bathroom Rug ? I saw them at Longwood Gardens, Pa. my last visit. The Flower Photos are spectacular.
