We’ve Got Playing!

Yes, as of today, we have actual dogs playing, without growling, yelping or crying. I guess Kody had to establish her dominance over Lucy (which for the most part we let her do), because Lucy is really feisty and those little puppy teeth are sharp.

It was a pleasure to hear only grunting and panting!

Kody was laying down during most of the rough-housing. It’s a little difficult to determine where one dog stops and the other one starts!

Tongues were a hangin’!

This is a good thing!

And finally resting. I did separate them at this point, because Kody was done and Lucy was not. Lucy is now sound asleep up in my office.

We cannot forget last night’s moon. I took the telescope lens and tripod out on the deck and tried to get a few shots of it. The lens is so big that even with a tripod, it’s difficult to level.

I have been so dog-busy that I forgot to post this photo. We have a nest on a rafter in the gazebo and noticed that there were babies in it. They left a few days ago, but I did get a few photos, which means we now have a case of empty nest syndrome.

The garage has a roof an some of the windows. I will post pictures shortly.

Oh those pictures are so cute of Kody and Lucy. Reminds me of Molly and Sampson when he was a baby. She mothered him. I wonder if Kody will mother Lucy as well. :))

Awwwww! Lucy is a doll. Funny to think of Kody as NOT being the baby now.
