Thoughts on that All Powerful ‘Love’ Thing

I find it a little bit sad that I have only written 32 entries in the past year. Broken down, that’s only 2.6 a month, and .615 a week.

But I digress.

I think I’ve found my return a bit heartwarming. It does however scare me to see that in some diaries, little has changed. And the same fights are being fought again and again to no avail. For those people I hope the best. That their demons be laid to rest.

Another consumer’s rape holiday is just around the corner, and I’m happy to say that I won’t be venturing out tomorrow eve, I’ll be enjoying Love Day at home, with some broiled salmon and a homemade salad. In a home filled with love, and minus one roommate, thank the heavens.

I have come to notice that my outings now are few and far between, and friends…my nearest and dearest…although countable on one hand, are absolutely irraplaceable. While I don’t think I’m old, I do realize I’m aging, and with that I think comes a certain responsibility. Stages of settling down.

Last year at this time I told you all I loved you. And that still rings true. Some of you have left, some of you are back…and some are here to stay for good. For all of you I give my brightest thoughts.

To the north of me in my state, a woman was going to get her hair done in her salon. Every week she went. Yesterday, during her routine appointment, the salon’s roof caved in out of nowhere and killed her.

You just never know. Don’t miss any opportunity to use the words ‘I love you’. That is…

…if you mean it.

*Smiles* I Love You! You know it is sort of nice, wow! Thanks. ~;-)

You might want to read my series of entries I posted on the tenth. If you want, you can start with “The Gifts,” as the first two are mostly about looking at the graduate program. But you’ll appreciate it, I think. RYN: It’s an interesting point, and often hard to tell, and surprising when the answer is different than you thought.

RYN: Thank you.

RYN in Vaekor: I like you. You go around and click on people who leave interesting notes. I do that too. It’s fun. (And if you’re looking for good diaries, my readers have the best diaries ever! No, seriously.)

well, on that note, I love you 🙂 I hope I’m not one of those hopeless diarists still fighting the same battles, but then, if I have to ask….. Christopher
