I’ve got 13 pages of possible topics for my dissertation and I’m trying to filter them down. I’m sick of writing lists so I thought I would use this space to type some possibilities.

Option 1 – the availability and impact of CET material for Dispensing Opticians

Option 2 – Visual function in dyslexia

Option 3 – the significance of UV inhibitors, tints and filters for medical purposes

Option 4 – demographics of visual impairment in the UK

Option 5 – optometric deficiencies in patients with specific learning difficulties

Option 6 – what distractions/factors can affect the reliability of a visual field test?

Option 7 – should spectacle lens tints/coatings be an essential element of every spectacle dispensing or regarded as just an added extra “add-on”?

Option 8 – do occupational lenses help us with our occupations?

Option 9 – exercises vs prism for management of heterophoria – deciding the best course of action

Option 10 – visual fields – who needs them?

Option 11 – spectacle frames – just there to hold the lenses?
