Nicole…uhoh spagettios…

OK so we have some drama going on. As in…pretty bad drama tonight. Where do I start? There have been issues about Nicole and Pete spending so much time in our house…with Pete not actually paying rent here and yet he’s moved in. Me Laura Jamie and Ellie have kind of agreed that we don’t want to live with them as a couple next year. Nicole was my very best friend at uni for a lot of last year so obviously I will hate to lose her living with me. Same goes for Laura. It will be very strange without her.

But…we’re all sick of those two always being there holding hands and whatever else. It’s just really grating on us all. Nicole definitely wants to live with Pete next year…so she was trying to convince us to move to a 6 bedroom house next year so Pete could have a room. hmmm…that was a possibility. Me and Laura don’t really want to leave this house. We’re quite happy where we are (thank you very much) but Ellie and Jamie don’t want to stay here. So that’s an issue we need to sort. At first it was…well how the hell do we move but come up with an excuse for not finding a 6 bedroom house?

We can quite easily fill the other room. There’s quite a few people who would want to move in with us next year and Drew is probably the one we would choose. He’s one of Jamie’s best mates and us 3 girls REALLY get on with him. He’s a real ‘nice guy’.

So something needed to be said. Especially after last night when me Laura and Ellie were drunk and then obviously said what we really thought and all agreed that we didn’t want to live with a couple next year. Apart from them being all over eachother being really annoying…there’s also the fact that me and Ellie both have boyfriends that we WISH we could see every day but they don’t live in Cambridge. And Laura’s just broken up with James who she was with on and off for 5 years…and they have NO tact at all. They don’t think that maybe it makes us feel bad to see them holding hands all the time and cuddling up on the sofa when we’re all trying to watch TV and listening to them have sex…*cringe*

So tonight I said something. Me Nicole and Jamie were out smoking and Nicole bought up the house issue and said something along the lines of ‘we can’t make a decision until we know what you guys are doing’ They were thinking…if we would move we could find a 6 bed and they could move in but if we were staying here they would get a 2 bed. So I mentioned that we all preferred not to live with a couple next year. I said it in the nicest way possible and made sure I said it wasn’t personal and that I would hate to lose her as a housemate and it’s not that we don’t like Pete and yada yada yada…she erm…didn’t react very well. She didn’t say anything apart from a couple of mmhmms and alrights….then we all finished smoking so we came inside. Me and Jamie were chatting and ended up going to his room for him to show me something. We were sitting on his bed and Nicole and Pete came upstairs and went into her room. Next thing we know at about 11.30pm they are getting a taxi to Pete’s house…uhoh…so yeah she basically walked out. Wonder when we’ll hear from her next…or IF…

I can understand why she’s upset. we’ve basically told her to fuck off but we have our reasons…one of which is the risk she’s forcing us to take…i mean they’ve only been together 7 months…what if they break up and Pete moves out? Are we expected to pay more rent to cover the cost of his room? Hah. And the tension in the house…good lord. it needed to be said coz we all feel this way but i feel SO bad. And i’m sure she’ll bitch about me coz i’m the one that said it. at least jamie backed me up and didn’t just leave me there to die alone. that i thank him for.

anyway i’ll make another entry for good stuff…hallowe’en photos. woo. no nicole isn’t in any of them because she went away with Pete and missed our planned night (shocker)
