Woah -> stuff

soooo… it’s been a while. But, don’t worry. I’m back now *grins*

I’ve moved into my new house in Cambridge. I’ve started back at uni. I’m still with Jordan (who moved to Letchworth last week – so he’s now about half an hour away rather than 45 mins to london then an age on the underground). What else? Nothing much I don’t think.

Still loving my course. It’s a bitch this semester. Overload on physics and maths. Tuesday especially. I have lectures 9am – 7pm with no break – as in no time to smoke or eat. Damn it. Just 10 hours of learning. Well, we sometimes get a 10 minute break in one lecture and I think as of this week we’re getting a break from 5 – 5.15pm. Woo… It’ a tough day and really takes it out of you but I’ll get over it. It’s not really an effective way to learn though- by the time I get to my 3-5 lecture I’ve had so much maths chucked at me that I have no idea what they’re on about. It’s a seminar then so we’re going through what we did in the lecture i have 9-11. but that’s stupid because i have another mathsy physicsy lecture in between so we all just get confused with which module we’re doing because we’re all tired and hungry and praying for the coffee fairy to turn up. ah well. I have monday and wednesday with only 1 lecture (1 hour monday and 1 and a half hours of practical on wednesday) plus thursday and friday off so that’s cool. I can deal with that.

My house was a pain in the ass to start with. It was just one problem after another but we’ve kind of got it sorted now. Still a couple of things that were left here to get rid of – the old fridge the last landlady dumped in the backgarden has gone as of 2 days ago. There’s still a few things our landlord needs to get rid of. We have our internet sorted finally. Oh and we were without an over for a couple of weeks. Oh and we only had enough freezer space for one persons stuff so we’ve managed to get hold of an extra fridge freezer. woo.

jordan’s new place is so lovely. he’s without flatmate (or fatmate as he calls her) and in a really nice place. we spent the weekend carrying really heavy flatpack stuff to his and then hours and hours building it all. it looks like a proper home now. i think he’s gona be really happy there. i really like letchworth too. it’s such a sweet little place…hopefully me and him will end up living there together? maybe? possibly? we’ll see. it’s close to cambridge and london and not too far away from my home town where my family is so it’s perfect for us. i guess we’ll see how he gets on living there.

We’ve booked my nan’s tattoo that we’re getting her for her birthday. she’s always wanted a tattoo and it’s her 70th birthday in december so we’re paying for her to have one. hehe. I think it’s funny. I’m so going with her. hopefully i’ll be able to get one at the same time. hopefully. at the moment she wants a butterfly tattoo but we’ll see if she changes her mind.

i can’t think of what else i wanted to update and i’m going to meet my lecturer at the pub in the bit – we’re all invited with an open tab so i can’t really NOT go…so i’ll end with a picture of me and my housemates taken the other night out clubbing.

This is (from left) Myself, Laura, Ellie, Jamie and Nikki

And this one makes me laugh so I thought I would add it – me and Jamie
