Sick,Work, Returns, Crap TV is my cure

Im sick. Being sick sucks ass.  been to work today. it was actually ok. this morning I wasn’t feeling too terrible. I was kinda in a good mood. Yes, you read right, GOOD mood. I know what you’re thinking, me being cheerful = must be ill. But, no, I was feeling pretty good. Well, pretty good in comparison to how i was feeling yesterday. But, it rained this morning then was freezing cold and was a genuinely miserable day. Plus I had to be at work at 9.30.  Thus, my feelings of happiness detriorated. And now, i feel shit.  Work went OK. Was working 5.5 hours so had a half hour break. Waited until i only had 2 hours left to have that break so i only had 1.5 hours when I got back. Was SO busy today. Why were so many people shopping? OK, last weekend it was sunny. so obviously more people are gonna go shopping. And OK, there is 20% off in Debenhams this week. But, why, oh why, could they have not come in Thursday night when I was stuck in that God damn place until 10 at night? There were 3 of us on our little department and it was still a complete rush. One on fitting room, one on till, one tidying. Simple, organised way of coping with the people all milling around, right? Wrong. didn’t work that way at all. Urgh oh well.

Anyway. Made a pact with Jason last night. I would try not to smoke until I’m feeling better and he would rest for a week from tricking (he does all these flips and stuff and it fucks up his knees and he hurts himself). I was allowed one last cigarette today. But *slaps own wrist* I had 2. I did admit it though. See, I’m kinda a good girl. I’m sure I can manage not to smoke until I’m better. *muffles cough* I’m better already! woo! *goes out to smoke*

After work today (this entry is a bit muddled) i went shopping. Rachel Stevens came in to see me at work just as i finished coz she was killing time before she could get picked up. So i ended up going shopping with her. Took back a necklace that broke from Topshop. I felt kinda bad because they SO didn’t know how to do it. I had obviously thrown away the plastic with the barcode on it and there wasnt another for me to swop it for (i did want another). I decided not to be an annoying customer and asked to exchange it for something else.  So me and Rach went and picked a cool bracelet and necklace set. Went back to the desk. The 2 girls there called a guy over for help.As i get 25% staff discount in Topshop, he put the return necklace as £6 instead of £8. Then left them to do the rest. I actually only get 10% off of jewellery and said so to the girl (I had paid £7.20 not £6). As the stuff i wanted to buy came to £10, i would’ve then ended up paying £3 extra. (£4 then she wouldve done 25% discount). So she had to start again. She had no idea how to put the reurn thing in so went and got another necklace worth £8. (me and Rach were pissing ourselves and she just kept apologising). Then took 10% off that. £7.30. *shakes head*  10% from £8 is not £7.30. I didn’t bother saying anything lol. I ended up paying £1.70. *shrugs slightly* whatever.

Then went and got some new jeans. And some foundation. And a new blusher *gets all girly* and *tries to think* Prawn Cocktail Snack-a-Jacks and a Creme Egg. Woo. ooh, and 3 cool bracelets. They are all beady and green and shiny and cool.

Then came home and was really sad. I watched Clueless and then Graham Nortons new show…Strictly Dancing Something? I dunno. It was a crap show but, as a dancer, I loved watching them perform. And then Ant and Decs Saturday Night Takeaway (i love that show). Whilst all of these were showing i was wallowing in my self pity and coughing away to myself lol. I always think crap TV is the best cure for feeling shitty.

Anyway, that’s my day. Wooness. (ooh, new word, I like.) Yayness on a stick!! Wooness for new word!!

 oh, P.S. We have no bathroom. Well, we do. But it’s empty. There is no bath, no sink (our toilet is separate) no tiles on the wall. I HAVE NO GOD DAMN SHOWER!! lol. Trips to my grandparents house are gonna be more frequent this week lol. Damnit for not being with Apple anymore. He lives 5 mins up the road and now he’s passed his test so he could’ve come and picked me up, took me to his, i could’ve had a shower, stayed the night then eh could’ve given me a lift home in the morning. Damn. lol. Holme is so far away. lol
