A Blessed Merry Christmas..

 .. To Everyone!!

Midnight Mass this morning was the most beautiful Mass I’ve been to in many, many years!  The celebratory sound of the Gregorian Chant, different from the more penitential sound during the rest of the year, would have lifted the hearts of even the most depraved soul.  The Choir was so amazing and sounded so angelic that I couldn’t swallow for the lump in my throat.    

THIS is Christmas.  Not the gifts or the parties or the shopping or anything else the world tries to distract us with.  

It is the Blessed Birth of the Word made flesh, Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.
