5 days

so i know i’ve done this before and (more then a dozen times by now i am sure) but i have gone 5 nights now without snacking in the middle of the night! Now i know thats not a massively great feat yet, but shit it is too me..lol i dont know why this night time snacking has always been such a hard thing for me to stop… been doing it for 20 years i guess so kinda a hard habit to break. But after just 5 days, i am sleeping better, getting better quility of sleep, and shredding abit more fat from my abs! Hopefully i can keep it up, its one of my last bad habits that i would like to get rid of! So hopefully i can, i have been having a protien shake before bed (something ym beachbody coach told me to try) since protien diguests slower then anythign else and helps surpress hunger, so its been working, the last 2 nights i was pretty tempted but i held strong! Its just a matter of one night at a time.

In other news i have 2 weeks left of round 1 of my P90X/Insanity hybred i can’t wait to be done! I know thats weird concidering i am just gonna start it all over again, but it will be a nice thing to know i made it through the 90 days, kinda like another small bagde of honor. But for my second round throu i am gonna have things set up abit differently and alittle more designed. Gonna start keeping track of heart rate and colorie burn throu each workout again. Gonna do a small note write up after each workout to know how many small breaks i had to take, how long they were, were i seemed to still struggle, where i need to suck it up, and so on, that way i can try to better myself in those areas and push harder. I am also gonna try and track what i eat better…. just for awhile that is, the first month or so to make sure i am staying where i should be and getting the right protien to carb to fat ratio for maxium lean muscle mass growth. (i hate the thought of counting calories in ym food and all that crap but i think it will help for the time being until i get use to it)

So i have today off! i almost never get saturdays off, but finally got one YAY, so a nice full day long family day… ashame its craooy outside… alwell were gonna take Dante to the H2O center and go swimming today for a bit, to get him out and interactive, we’d go alot more but its $22 each time we go and we’re only ever there for an hour ro so before Dante starts to get cranky or starts falling asleep…lol alwell its good for him. The home time baby to bed for afternoon nap, me and nikki will bust an Insanity workout, relax, then once Dante wakes up go get groceries. And most likely will have bbq salmon for dinner tonight, yum! anyways i should go play with baby.

I gave up on P90X. I will start up when a friend of mine wants to join me again. I could always do it alone, but it’s always fun to work out with someone. Glad you are doing SO well!! ((HUGS)) ~

CONGRATS on 5 days of non sleep-eating! I know my brother had a terrible habit of doing that and a lot of the time he could hardly remember doing it, I remember it used to drive my mum up the wall haha. I guess it’s much tougher when you’re half asleep to resist cravings but the protein shake thinger before bed seems like a really good idea though, keep it up!

ryn// Cheers for the bb worksheets! That’ll make it easier than copying down every exercise by hand beforehand I’m sure haha. Which programme did you follow? I’m probably going with classic, the doubles seemed a bit hectic. Ohh noo about ab ripper! Haha, ahh damnit. I guess I’ll just have to suck it up and just do it there and then – probably better than separating it and getting it all done
