My favorite internet get richer gradually scheme

The internet is obviously full of failed get rich quick schemes that always offer tons of promises that never pan out. The reality is no one who doesn’t have 10,000 really good friends will get rich quickly. I tend to lean towards those which offer immediate results, where you earn based on your own activity even if you don’t have 10,000 friends.

I’ve found something that is slowly paying dividends, and when you consider how much work I’m not actually doing to get them it’s too easy not to jump in. This site pays users to watch commercials, actually the advertisers are the ones paying. The rationale is advertisers are wasting money with tv and radio ads because people aren’t listening to the radio anymore, and they can skip tv commercials with their DVRs. We all know how annoying pop up ads are and they never generate sales, just resentment, or we have pop up blockers. So advertisers need a new way to reach customers who might actually want to buy their stuff. This site allows users to choose what kind of ads they will be shown, so you only see ads for stuff you might actually want. You also rate the ads out of 5 stars. In exchange the advertisers’ money is going to the users on the site, a little bit for each ad you watch.

Now for the logistics. On your own you can watch and earn money for up to 200 ads watched per week. Ads are roughly 30 seconds each with at least a 15 second time limit confirmation to hit when each ad ends. You only earn for ads you confirm watching. But the trick is, you don’t really have to pay attention to them! As long as you confirm the ad when it ends you get credit for it. I play ads on a 2nd window while using Facebook, you can even mute most of the ads. I’m playing an ad right now while I write this.

Where does your money go? Your account gets linked to Paypal and that’s how they pay you. If you already have a Paypal, use the same email you signed up for Paypal with for this. Once you earn at least $20 you can have it transferred to your Paypal and use it however you want. Your balance of earnings never disappears, you can just keep adding to it until you reach $20 or more.

So is it a pyramid scheme? It can be, sure. But you’re the top of your pyramid. If you get people to sign up with your link and they watch ads, both of you earn money. You also earn on the ad views of all people connected to you up to 5 and 6 degrees of separation. The more people you’re connected to that use the site the more you earn. Even if you can’t get anyone to sign up you still earn on what ads you watch.

It costs nothing to sign up, and there are benefits I haven’t even mentioned here. I’ve already told you how stupidly easy it is. You basically get paid to have a 2nd window open when you’re online. It barely interrupts what you’re already doing, why wouldn’t you want free money for such little effort? It does work, I’ve made over $8 since I started, and all I’m doing is being online anyway.

That is pretty amazing. Thanks for the tip. Sure it’s not like having a second job, but a few extra bucks in the paypal bank can’t hurt!
