Hundred-Fifty-Eight: All We Need Part Three

.Tanya Faith.The Yule Ball

Told from Third Person POV

Tanya gracefully got off the stage with the face of contentment. She knew she had them all in the palm of their hand. She walked over to Cedric and poked his shoulder; he almost fell backwards. Tanya let out an accomplished giggle and held Cedric tightly in her arms as he embraced her back.

“Cedric you’ve always been my favorite Hufflepuff.” She buried her head deep into his chest. “Of course I don’t know too many besides you, Piastol, and Susan Bones.” She said in a fast tone.

Cedric smiled and tried to hold her closer. Tanya began to sway back and forth to the music. Just as they were getting lost in the moment, Zeke came and tapped Cedric on the shoulder. Cedric looked up from his gaze and saw Zeke’s confused expression.

“Sorry…we were just dancing and….” Cedric could see the annoyance in Zeke’s eyes. “Gotta go!” he waved his hand and left.

“What was that about?” Zeke watched as Cedric left into the crowd.

“I just wanted to dance with my friend,” Tanya shrugged. She couldn’t contain the urge to seduce sometimes, even if she meant no harm by it.

“Oh….” Zeke looked away. “You did a good job tonight.” He said as he kissed her on the forehead. “I almost couldn’t look away from you.” He inquired.

“Really?” She beamed. That was all she wanted to hear.

“Even without the music….” He added. Tanya needed to hear that…Zeke wasn’t attracted to her because it was the magic spell of the veela.

Trying to have a good time with her friends, Tanya danced and socialized. She was anticipating the moment when the special guest would appear and walk on the stage she claimed as hers.

“Next – we are going to hear the vocals of Aria.” Pro Flitwick announced.

Tanya’s neck looked as if it would snap when she whipped it around to the stage.

I remember tears streaming down your face.
When I said I’ll never let you go.
When all these shadows almost killed the light.
I remember, you said “Don’t leave me here alone.”
But all that’s dead and gone and past, tonight
.

Tanya looked around the room as some people stood in awe and complimented on Aria’s pure voice. She rolled her eyes.

“What’s going on?” She asked Zeke.

“The new girl can sing,” he simply stated – though it hit him why she ask. “She’ll never be as good as you though.” He held her hand tightly.

Tanya stood there petrified to move – wantign to rush up to the stage and take away the microphone but she didn’t. She couldn’t. She placed her hands around Zeke’s neck and began to dance. She figured she might as well enjoy the moment – and not be so envious. All she needed was here – in front of her. Ezekial Brayden Shadows.

Ha! Zeke said she could sing, and you know it’s the truth too! Maybe you both will have to have a sing off one day. I know who I’m voting for :p
