.Tanya Faith.Dance With Me
Told from 3rd Person POV
With the waves crashing around him, Kaden Shadows laid floating above the water in the Delacour villa lake. It didnt even matter that the temperature was unbearable for most people, because to him, his skin was already ice cold. Lying with thoughts and imagination, Kaden stared blankly into the midnight sky. He had accompanied the other men on this adventure to confession his true devotion to Tanya but upon the arrival his biggest fear was again confronted.
What if he had wanted to spend his life with her? There were others like Darkous out there. He didnt want to risk that, yet, it wasnt fair that his brother was putting her in the same position he was avoiding her from. For a moment, his mind went on Kayleen Diggory. She was a sweet girl, but unlike Tanya, she wasnt easily forgiven and didnt wear her heart on her sleeve. She seemed perfect for Kaden, but he couldnt get his thoughts off the veela.
Letting his body grow limp, Kaden slowly floated to the bottom of the lake and laid there for hours. With his eyes open, he focused on the moon. He let his own thoughts rest in his head. His enemy was dead but he wasnt happy. How could he be? Inside the mansion, his fair maiden is cuddling beside a cozy fire with his brother .and it was his entire fault. He pushed her away. He had to.
Inside the mansion, Tanya was enjoying the company of her dear friends (minus Kaden) and family. She sat closely between Colin and Harry. Zeke had to retire for the night for he was deeply wounded in the battle against Darkous.
My friends what will I ever do without you? Tanya laced her fingers between Harrys. You came all this way to save my sister!
Well Tanya, I would do it all over again, even if I knew how long I have to formulate a plan now. Harry patted her hand gently. The vampire inside your mother died when Darkous did. It was only a temporary curse.
I know .. She trailed off. Without Kaden using that old magic, it is un-telling how many of us would also be vampires right now. Tanya suddenly stood up and pointed her wand toward an old record player. Music blared through the speakers. Dance with me, Harry! She insisted.
If you ever leave me, baby,
Leave some morphine at my door
‘Cause it would take a whole lot of medication
To realize what we used to have,
We don’t have it anymore.
The music played through the Delacour house as everyone laughed. Colin had asked Alana to dance, even if her pregnant belly was in the way. Colin tentatively observed Tanya and Harry. Something inside of him wished, even for one day, he could trade places with Harry. Colin knew that inside of Tanyas heart, Harry would never be replaced. He also knew that there was a special place for him, even if it was only a percent smaller.
There’s no religion that could save me
No matter how long my knees are on the floor
So keep in mind all the sacrifices I’m makin’
To keep you by my side
To keep you from walkin’ out the door.
The music continued to play. Harry and Tanya were laughing like children again. Tanya experienced an injury from the fight on her right arm, but she tried to hide it.
Outside, Kaden rose from the lake. Dripping with water, he made his way into the Delacour villa. He already made up his mind that tonight .was going to be the night.
The night for what? Bluh I hate waiting lol
