30 weeks, photos
Some photos from the past couple of weeks:
27 weeks, 1 day
28 weeks
29 weeks, 4 days
Tonight at 30 weeks (!!)
I can’t believe we have about 8-12 weeks left until this baby comes. That’s insanity!
I’m definitely feeling the third trimester. I’m always exhausted but I can’t sleep, my feet are fat, I waddle when I walk. All in all, though, I don’t have a lot of complaints. I’m not nearly as hormonal/emotional as I always assumed I would be during pregnancy, so that’s a plus.
I just got done doing a week of self-testing for my blood sugar at home, in lieu of doing the glucose test. I was dreading it and dreading it (despite the fact that I find the test incredibly faulty and just didn’t WANT to do it) and finally called to see if they could offer me an alternative, and that was it. It was a breeze. My blood sugar is very low…I’m actually wondering if they’ll be concerned, because it was like really really low a lot. My fasting blood sugar was 48-70, usually in the 50’s, and my after meal blood sugars were usually in the 80s. The highest I ever got was 110. It actually made a lot of things make sense, I was definitely more dizzy, shaky, ill feeling, and out of it when my blood sugar was really low.
Anyway, I just got on here to post photos, I will write more later but tomorrow is Jonathan’s birthday and he wants to go out for a drink so I need to get ready.
I’m so excited for you guys. And I totally could have written the end of your entry. I expected to be so much more moody and flying off the handle! lol And yeah, even though things sucked, I still knew I had it better than others, so it was hard to complain! lol

Awwwww!!! You look GREAT! RYN: I’ve seen so many specialists. I’ve been to three chiropractors – one who specializes in neurological issues/migraine headaches. I still go every week, along with massage therapy. $20,000 has run through my insurance this year just for these stupid headaches. I’ve been to a nutritionist and had food sensitivity testing, acupuncture, herbalist, pressure point therapy…I even tried this thing called “Energy Psychology”, which was weird, LOL. Nothing has worked so far. I have my migraines completely controlled with triptans – the headaches I get on my period aren’t really migraines, they’re like a caffeine or dehydration headache on crack. Nothing helps. My migraines have a scary aura too that mimics a stroke, so I can’t take any type of hormone because my vascular risk is just through the roof. I never knew that migraines weren’t just headaches, the first time it happened, everyone in my office including myself thought I was having a stroke. We called 911 and everything – it was bad. I gave birth with no meds and it was NOTHING compared to the pain I felt that day…Migraines DO suck!!!
