You guys!
I woke up this morning and didn’t feel like I was going to puke!
I went to work and didn’t feel like I was going to puke!
I snacked throughout the morning and didn’t feel like I was going to puke!
I started feeling a little nauseous just before I went to pick up lunch, sucked on an Otter Pop while I finished up the dog, and didn’t feel like I was going to puke!
I made it through the day, came home, and I’ve been cleaning for 3 hours! WITHOUT FEELING LIKE I’M GOING TO PUKE.
Knock on wood and cross your fingers! I’m so hoping this is the long anticipated 2nd trimester relief!
This is the first day in 8.5 weeks that I’ve felt mostly normal. I’m so happy I could cry.
I have ultrasound pictures from Tuesday. I can’t believe I haven’t posted them yet! I’ll get them up on Photobucket and share them soon. Baby looks great…s/he is measuring 4 days ahead, heartbeat sounds great at 163…the baby was wiggling around so much at first she couldn’t even get the heartbeat…then s/he just stopped moving altogether and the technician kept prodding with the ultrasound wand trying to get just a little movement so we could see some different angles. It’s amazing looking at the pictures, the little fingers and the legs and the adorable nose! I spend a lot of time just staring at them.
The cutest thing- at first, the baby had both of it’s hands held out in front of them, holding them together and playing with them. So sweet.
There wasn’t at any point a clear enough between the legs shot that we could get any hint at gender. We’ll know soon enough, though, I’m just glad everything is going well.

Aww those are great pics!! Glad everything is right on track! Lilly’s heartbeat was always usually in the 160’s range. Sounds like a very active little baby. Hope the nausea is gone, sounds like you’ve entered the second trimester! It’s the best. 🙂
