It’s hard when you’re pregnant and can’t tell if you’re just morning sick, or actual sick. I woke up this morning feeling all kinds of gross, but it’s so hard to tell if it’s really that different from all the other mornings. I think what’s different today is that I feel kind of achy in my body, my head hurts, and I feel shaky and weak. Ugh. I have a ton of stuff I need to get done today!

My dad is in town now. I saw him Friday night and tonight we’re all having dinner at my sister’s.

I’m feeling very done with my brother. Lame time for it since I have a niece due in a couple of months and my own baby due in November, but I’m just done with the drama and bullshit. I might expand on this later, but it’s been a long time coming. I don’t trust him, I can’t believe anything he says, I don’t like the way he parents at all, and he’s just not very pleasant to be around. I might contact my ex-sister-in-law, see if I can start hanging out with the kiddos at her house or pick them up from her every once in a while. It really sucks that I won’t get to know my newest nephew Phoenix or the new baby girl, but…I just need to keep away from the situation.

Nothing really new or different pregnancy wise. Still tired, still sick, getting rounder…I’m to the point where when I wear certain clothes, I know a lot of people can tell. My legs itch allthetime. I love my giganto (for me) boobs.

We have the nuchal translucency scan on Wednesday. I’m excited to see the little person again…he/she is going to be so different! Last time we got to see I was only 8 weeks along. I’ll be 14 weeks and 1 day and I have high hopes that the tech might be able to get a good peek and make a gender guess.

I’m starting to begin the stressing over finding a groomer for while I’ll be out on maternity leave. It’s so worrisome thinking of someone else grooming my dogs. I don’t want my clients being disappointed. Plus, I’m worried about finding someone really dependable. If they were to up and quit in the middle of my leave it would be disastrous.

*sigh*

I worry too much.

At 14 weeks I started getting body aches and had a fever, turned out I had gotten h1n1 somehow. They did a u/s at the er to make sure everything was ok and the ER doc said that he thought he saw something and said he thought it was a boy but wouldn’t go right out and say it officially. At 20 weeks, it was revealed she was a girl. I didn’t fully believe it until 6 weeks later when we paid for a 4Dultrasound and it was really confirmed since she had her legs crossed and was in a funny position at the 20 week one. I don’t think they will try to look that early but would be cool if they did and were right! Is there a reason why they are doing so many ultrasounds? My midwife would only do the 20 week one and that was it, because I knew my lmp. 🙂

ryn: Oh,that’s cool. They gave us the option to do the bloodwork but no ultrasound to go with it. I think it makes more sense to do an ultrasound with it considering the blood tests aren’t the most accurate. Hope it’s a good appointment for you guys. 🙂
