I completely missed my anniversary date! August 8, 2005. Holy crap 8 years and almost 1300 entries later. I was 23 years old.. now I am 31. I went back and re-read some of my entries.
In the past 8 years I have:
- Left an abusive relationship;
- Lost 80 lbs;
- Battled depression;
- Stopped talking to my mother (again);
- Stopped talking to my brother;
- Starting talking to my brother again (after 7 years…although sometimes I am not sure why);
- Met my a man I now call my husband;
- Found a new job;
- Gained 20 lbs;
- Got pregnant and gave birth..thus gaining 50 more lbs;
- Paid off my car;
- Started running
- Re-lost 75 lbs;
- Started running in races (5k and 8k so far);
- Started training for a half marathon in March 2014;
- Watched Dave’s ex wife get fired from her job for stealing money and crap away child support;
- Still battle depression;
- Saw my mother once (the day I got married January 2010);
- Found my way to our Lord and Savior and became saved.
I am sure much more has happened than that, but those are just the main ones. Ive meet some pretty awesome people (mostly ladies) here. And I am sure I could never leave this place. Which reminds me one of these days I need to download my diary in case anything happens. I may not write or note as often as I should but life is hectic with a toddler and work but I do read just about every single day.
I really really need to make more of an effort to write here more often.

oh wow, i remember the ex, wouldnt he claim to kill himself if you left? i dont recall you writing about him dying. and giving birth should not be grouped with gaining weight, i think that it should also be bigger font. 🙂
