Writing Prompt: What was a time you felt the most brave? What was a time you didn’t feel brave at all?
Me, brave? I have never considered myself brave. I have not been in to many places where I have really needed to be brave so this may be short.
I guess the only instance I can think of where I was brave was when I gave birth. Giving birth is easy to some and not so much to others. I was afraid of labor. It terrified me. Pregnancy terrified me. It gave me anxiety. But when the time came to be induced, I did it. I made it through. I remained strong
Work has been hectic, crazy. You name it. Over the past month we have had another girl go to lunch and never return, a temp receptionist have a bad reaction to her meds in which I had to find her unresponsive in her vehicle and call an ambulance. Over the past month I have trained for different woman, two at the same time WHILE doing my own work. This is NOT easy. It has left me drained an
d exhausted. Stressed. You name it.
I want to go to sleep and sleep until my body says ok you can get up now. I want to have my husband get up with Noah at 630 and let me sleep in. I want to have step-daughters who listen, how think of other people other than themselves, who help out around the house, how are considerate. I want step daughters who know how to keep their hands to them selves and not hit each other constantly. I want my husband to take more initiative in consquences because I will not tolerate Noah learning what they do. Noah is at a very fragile age and mimics everything. Soon he will be speaking what everyone speaks andI will not tolerate home calling names and saying I hate you, which the say to one another. I do not want to dread the weekends they are at the house. I want to be happy, not miserable. I want help.
Help that I do not get.
That is all, for now. I need to save stuff for the rest of the month lol.

Have you told your husband to get up at 6:30? Eventually I just was blunt and told him he had to do it. He would be a grump all day after that, but at the time we weren’t getting along anyways so it didn’t really matter, lol! I would literally get up, get her out of her crib, put her on him while he’s laying there and say “your turn”!

I, too, have done what frozenbutterfly did and was very blunt about it. I would also get Collin out of his crib, hand him to TJ and say “your turn!”
