[1] What did you do in 2011 that you have never done before? I had bariatric weight loss surgery

[2] Did you keep all of last years resolutions? I rarely ever make any.

[3] Have you any resolutions for next year? To take more pictures and videos of family.

[4] Did anyone close to you give birth? My best friend gave birth to the most cutest little man Grayson this year.

[5] Did anyone close to you die? Thankfully no!

[6] What countries did you visit? Nada

[7] What would you like to have in 2012 that you didn’t have in 2011? Less Washington

[8] What dates in 2011 will remain etched in your memory and why? None really at this point that I can remember

[9] What was your biggest achievement of the year? …..

[10] What was your biggest failure? Putting more energy into this piece of shit house than into my family.

[11] Did you suffer any illness or injury? nothing that sticks out in my mind lol

[12] What was the best thing you bought? My Highlander, I <3 her!

[13] Whose behaviour merited celebration? Chuck, he exceeded expectations in his grades while completing his degree at UW.

[15] Where did most of your money go? This piece of shit house.

[16] What did you get really really really excited about? A year of NO ARMY.

[19] What do you wish you’d done more of? Spent more time with family exploring the things we love.

[21] How will you be spending Christmas? No telling, Dec 2012 is too far off.

[26] Do you hate anyone now that you didn’t hate this time last year? Probably not hate, but severe dislike.

[27] What was/were the best books you read? Reading They Fuck You Up right now and it’s good.

[29] What did you want and get? A year of no army.

[30] What did you want and not get? No further upcoming deployments.

[32] What did you do on your birthday and how old were you? Nothing and I was 30.

[33] What one thing made your year more satisfying than 2010? The year of no army. (notice a pattern here?)

[35] What kept you sane? Chuck, Caitlin & Beth

[36] Which celebrity did you fancy the most? Emma Stone … she’s gorgeous and such a good actress.

[37] Which political issue stirred you the most? Where do I start? NDAA right now is one that has me fucking LIVID.

[38] Who did you miss? Mom, sisters, brothers, cousins, grandparents, best friends, etc EVERYONE. WA is a lonely place.

[40] Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned this year? Money and things mean NOTHING. I grew tired of stuff. I am ready to downsize and stop putting all of my energy into stuff. There’s so much more to life than stuff.
