End of NoJoMo 2011….

The end of yet another year of NoJoMo.  I’d probably give myself a C+/B- in terms of how well I did.  I missed a few days here and there.  Although some of those days I should get excused from considering how sick I was those days.  Then I missed yesterday but hey at least I’m not missing the last day lol.  So that has to count for something, right?  Plus some days I did post more than one entry.  Granted usually one of the two entries was a faves only entry.  Oh well.  It’s turning into a slightly busy weekend since I want to get some shopping done.  Plus I need to play personal shopper for my dad and get some of the things he wanted to buy for my mom.  Which is nothing new.  It happens every year.  Then usually you get to add in my mom having me buy things for my dad for her.  Although I might avoid that this year because she’s already spent a decent amount on him and figures he’s probably going to kick her in the butt cause she got him 2 big gifts.  Well kind of 3.  So now I have to be sly and kind of advise him about all he’s gotten for my mom and suggest things so that way hopefully he won’t feel too bad.  See if she spends too much on him he won’t feel bad cause of the money spent.  He’ll feel bad that he didn’t get her more.  So that’s where I step in and have to try to help balance things out.  I can’t run and go "hey mom spent over $300 on you" or whatever she spent.  I’ve got at least 3 things to get for her this weekend.  Well one thing is more than just one item.  It’ll probably be at least…um let me think.  Probably about 8-10 at least.  But the thing is it’s gifts that are kind of for the house.  Well not kind of….they are.  It’s bathroom stuff and kitchen stuff.  But my mom even when you make her put together a list doesn’t list much. 

Okay I’m putting this entry on hold for now.  I’ll come back and write more later.
