Dear Milo

 Today I have been smitten with my baby. I got to hang out with him in his class today (I work in the same daycare that he goes to, in case you don’t know.) and he was being such a doll. He did have to go to the corner one time, but I feel like that nose-in-the-corner method is really working, because he severely dislikes it, and when we ask him if he wants his nose in the corner he ACTUALLY stops what he’s doing and says no, and discontinues the behavior. AMAZING. I never thought anything would do that. lol

Anyways, he’s just been adorable. He’s wearing a super cute little polo shirt that’s blue and chocolate coloured stripes, and he looks darling in it, with his Wranglers. His hair is all combed smooth on the top/front and his little curls are sproinging out behind his ears and around his collar, he looks precious, and I want to eat him up. 

He chased me around his class with toy dinosaurs, yelling "RAAWR!" and laughing at me when I pretended to be scared and shocked and hid from them and cried, "That’s scawy!!" then he would fling the dinosaur away from him and hug me and pretend to be scared, too. SO CUTE.

We read a million books, including two Diaper David books, Oops and Oh, David. He asked for them again and again and again and then read them to me.  "Oh, DAVID! no no no, MESS! Da’s bad! HOWD STILL!! Go Nini, David!!! I Luboo, David!" so adorable 🙂 

When we drove home he was singing along to a few songs on the radio and has been singing all evening, too. He sings "Somebody!" in the chorus of Somebody That I Used To Know, and he was singing along to a Maroon 5 song, too, just randomly would know a couple of the words from hearing it all the time on the radio and yell out the lyrics that he knew. And, when he started screaming about nothing, he actually stopped when I asked him to! Amazing. 

When we got home, he sang Ross "Twinkle, Twinkle" and "Wheels on the Bus" and "Itsy-Bitsy Spider!" He doesn’t remember all of the words, so he makes some stuff up in the middle, and it’s really cute. Or he just says the part he knows over and over to the correct tune. lol. 

He dips his french fries in mayonaisse, and politely says, "Moy may-nay pweeeeaase!" He was dipping his pork chops in his mayo, too. Silly goose. 

When I was in his class, I would ask for a kiss, and he would grin and say "No waaayyy!!" so then I would pretend I was crying, and he would give me a kiss to make me hush/ feel better. After a few times, he would stick his bottom lip way out and make a sad face so that I would give him kisses, too. <3

He’s so stinking smart. He cracks me up. He’s adorable. I really, seriously can’t understand how he got so darn cute. I love those curls. His hair is so silky soft! (we use a kids 2-in-1 shampoo on it.)  

I can’t believe he’s two!
