Unable to Break

 

Milo can’t catch a break. It’s pathetic. He’s had the same ear infection for a couple of weeks, now.. it won’t go away, and he has a THIRD antibiotic, now. Omnicef. 2x a day, 1/2 tsp, for 10 days. Follow up appointment on the 3rd. He also has a dental appointment on the 2nd. I should probably call and find out what times the kids’ appointments are.. Kasin’s is the 14th, I think. 

The receptionist sayyyys.. Kasin is the 14th (Tues) at 3pm. Milo has an initial exam on the 2nd (Thurs) at 9:45am.  I need to fill out spots on the calendar at work. Milo has his ear recheck at 9:30am Friday, the 3rd. Ugh. My life hurts

I need to finish my math, and I was going to take tomorrow off or work, but now I can’t, BECAUSE

Milo ALSO has Hand Foot & Mouth disease. He has blisters all down his throat, and he’s completely miserable. His butt/groin is covered in blisters, he has a fever, and the numbing/pain medication for his mouth and throat isn’t covered by his insurance. Great. I had to pay out of pocket for it, and go to the store for more ibuprofen (he poured his out all over the kitchen when I was in the shower and Ross was "watching him") and popsicles and pudding. No wonder he hasn’t been eating. Poor baby. 🙁    I also got him some Honey Pops, their like throat lozenges on a stick, and they’re made of honey so they help suppress coughs and soothe sore throats. I hope he likes them. They were only like $3 for the box, so it wouldn’t be the end of the world if he doesn’t love them. 

Speaking of poor sick baby, i hear him being awake downstairs. He crashed out in the car before we got to the store and stayed asleep, on my shoulder, the whole time we were inside and I got him home and in his crib without waking him up at all. Time to dose him up with EVERY medicine. Poor baby. *Sigh!*

This also means I’m out of work for like a week, because Milo’s contagious. Awesome. It’s good that I’m not super poor or anything.
