Feet, Pinterest dinner, Soccer, Potty, KP Sass.

 

 

 

Transformers 3 just came out on Netflix! Dude! Sweet! haha. I really like the FIRST movie, not so crazy about the 2nd, so we’ll see how this goes.

My feet are KILLING MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE, every day. I can’t figure it out. It’s awful. Seriously horrible, like I wince with every step. My heels and my calves, mostly, and the balls of my feet some of the time.. I have REALLY high arches, and NO supportive shoes (I have a pair of DCs that I dont tie/untie and I’ve been wearing for like 3 straight years, now.. I have almost worn holes through the soles at the balls of my feet. The rubber peels up and you can see the foamy stuff underneath. :S I also have a couple pairs of flip flops, some cheap ones from WalMart and some expensive Champion ones that have gel inserty parts and are supposed to be like shape up flip flops. Neither pair do me ANY favors, and my sneakers don’t help much, either… they’re better than the flops, though.. I have a few pairs of flats, too, but I don’t really wear them very often.

In short, I probably ought to buy some better shoes, huh? 🙁  I’m too poooooorrr.. I need some nice athletic shoes.

I made some Pinterest recipes for dinner tonight- cheese and bacon potato rounds (like baked tater coins, basically) and parmesan knots (like a biscuit) SO tasty. We also had chicken and salad, it was all really good. I sent some left overs home with Julie when she came to pick up Kasin tonight after dinner. Both recipes were really really yummy. Even Kasin liked the bread, but not the potatoes.. he doesnt like potatoes. but he did eat the chicken without complaint, even though it was well seasoned.

He did great at his last soccer game, even though his team lost 0-2. They had a great practice this week, too, which is a relief, because they were a wreck on Tuesday’s game.. unfortunately, practice is on Thursdays and games are on Tuesdays, so they have to just keep all that stuff in their heads till the next week… :S Hopefully they play well this week. Kasin is showing an OBVIOUS preference for defense, and he’s been training for goalie, too. The problem is, his team doesn’t have any strong forwards. They all just kick the ball to the other side and let the other team have it. Hence the no goals. It’s…  Poor. lol

Milo got a little froggie potty last week and we have had him sitting on it when we change his diaper, he peed in it twice today!! We made a big to-do about it and he got a fruit snack each time and he got to take the removable bowl part upstairs and pour it in the big toilet and flush it- he loves that part. He was pretty stoked. I was disappointed that he ended up peeing on the floor right in front of his potty tonight after dinner.. he was sitting on the potty and I was reading him books, but I got up to get a new one and left him on the potty.. he stood up and took a step forward to get something, and peed on the floor. dangit. Oh well, he did pretty good for a first-timer 🙂 He isn’t READY for underwear or anything, but he’s getting excited about using the potty and practicing sitting on it, so that’s good. When he gets closer to two, I will probably get a lot more serious about it. Teach him how to take off his pants and get dressed again by himself. That kind of thing. Right now we’re just practicing 🙂

Kasin has been SO FREAKING SASSY lately. He says everything in this shitty tone of voice, like he’s so bored and exasperated for having to put up with us. And also like he clearly things he’s a genius and the smartest person ever and that he should just be able to do whatever he wants, whenever he wants, etc. He had been working really diligently on his chores, but here lately he’s peacing out to grandma’s house at every opportunity.. sometimes even on weekdays after dinner or after work, etc.. it’s hard because our schedule is so packed, Kasin has soccer on Tues/Thurs and I have my girl night with Heather on Wed, which is Julie’s day off from work where she likes to take Kasin for the day and do cool shit.. but lately, he’s been having whiny break downs about not wanting to go with her unless she chooses to do exactly what HE wants, like if he says he wants to go to the swimming pool, he expects her to find a pool that’s open exactly when he wants to go and bring him directly to it. Uhh.. no. She got sick of him after about an hour last Wed and dropped him back off at work with me. Astounding.
