Sarah Palin, and other things.

I lost a friend over a debate about Sarah Palin. She kept going on and on about how she’s a wonderful, god-fearing woman and a great mother and we should be proud to claim her as a resident of our state and do everything we can to get her into office, blah blah.

So, I laid out the facts, very articulately and civil… the woman is inexperienced, has a degree is journalism, was elected to take votes away from democrats, was chosen for this over other female Senators, such as Snowe and Hutchison, because she was pretty… She is really vague on her religious affiliation, having claimed to be non-denominational Christian AND Lutheran, among other things. She is anti-choice and anti-many other women’s rights, she’s pro-gun and pro-death penalty, which are both things I don’t agree with. 

On a personal note, but I left this out of the argument, she says stupid things, she’s not that intelligent, she names her kids stupid shit, she puts her career before her family, she BAILED OUT on being the governor and never explained why, and she drives me ape shit banana crazy. 

So, I wrote up this very nice response to her going on and on about how great Sarah Palin is, and she deleted my comments. How rude. I was pissed. Then she told me I was being childish and throwing a tantrum. UH, no. She was deleted and blocked. Such a shame.

BUT, it was sort of inevitable.. she’s one of those SUPER Jesus Freaks, the kind that I just can’t mesh well with, the kind who cover their ears during science lectures. 

IN OTHER NEWS, I got new hairs:

It’s purple and burgundy stripes on the underneath, he left the top part all honey hilights and so the fancy colours sorta peek through. He curled it for me after he dyed it and blow dried it, to show it off.
I also got a little side swept bang to over come my Donald Trump cowlick in the front of my hair (This upcoming photo is a terrrrible picture of me:)

It’s very pretty 🙂 I was expecting it to be more purple than red, but whatever 🙂

It’s cute, I like it a lot 🙂 Everyone else seems to like it, also. He curled it for me so it’s all fancy in the photos. Not sure what I’ll do with it when it’s not curled.. haha. Or if anyone will notice it much. It’s subtle, which I like. 🙂 He trimmed it just a bit and added some shape to the front/top, and the sideswept bang. Ross wants my hair to keep growing out, and since he seems to care about it more than I do, I’m just accommodating that… for now 😀
