New Year – New Me ♥

Hey,

Thought it was time for a proper update rather than a survey. I’ve decided I don’t write in this enough and think that I probably should. Since it’s a new year and all that jazz, I should have somewhere to vent my thoughts and feelings as well as the written diary I have.

So anyway, Happy New Year and Merry Christmas my lovelies. Hope you all had a smashing festive season :] Mine’s was pretty awesome. On Christmas day I got up at about 8[!!] to open presents and stuff, I swear my mum gets more excited about it than my brother and I – it was her that got us up that early! Got some lovely things, no main gift this year just a few bits and bobs y’know and some money. So then I went back to bed at about half 9 until about half 12, woopsy. Then got up, tidied up, had a shower and got ready for the family coming over for Dinner. Then at night I ended up going into Dedridge :] With my lovelies: Emma and Laura, and Emma brought her friend Kirsty too. Was a good night. New year was also good, at Dedridge again. Was pretty chilled out, I was expecting a load of randoms but it was just the usuals. I don’t think I have written about Dedridge before but anyway. Myself, Emz and Loz go up there occasionally to our mate Darren’s house and through him we have met lots and lots of people :] He has recently moved house and is now living with Dave (who he lived with before) and Wardy. So yesh we have been spending  lot of time there recently and I have now "broke the tradition" as Loz put it and stayed a few times. So yeah we were there for new year which was chilled out and lovely :] Laura went home coz her little sister needed her, but Emma and I stayed. On New Years day we all sat around and watched a couple of films before Emma and I headed home that night. So it was smashing. Now I have to get back into a routine and start looking for a job again. 🙁

So I think something needs explained now since I (hopefully) will be writing more often and one person will probably continue to pop up quite a lot. Wardy, Darren’s housemate. Well lets just say he is a nice boy and things are happening :] He makes me smile lots so that’s always good. Dunno what to say about him really, but I think you get what I’m trying to tell you. I dunno what’s officially going on with us tbh, so lets just leave it at "he makes me smile lots" for now.

This weekend was pretty good. Was so chilled out which was just what I needed coz I think I’m a bit partied out after the past month or two. On Friday myself, Loz and Keziah went to Emma’s for a wee girly night in. We got some chinese, put on the music channels and had a good old chin-wag and a few drinks. Was loverly :] Then on Saturday night myself and Laura were meant to go into Dedridge but Loz couldn’t make it so I decided to venture in myself for the first time ever. I don’t think I would’ve if I wasn’t getting picked up but hey ho. So I got picked up at the back of 8 and took Darren in to meet my mother dearest (at her request, not mine.. or Darren’s for that matter). Then we headed to the house of fun. I walked in with no make-up on, hair needing washed so it was tied back and my "can’t be arsed" clothes on only to find a large group of people including 2 rather done-up girls. I felt very out of place as I was just expecting a few of us. Anyway we started to watch Nacho Libre (which is pants) and the girls and Carsie left halfway through that. Then we watched the new American Pie film, The Naked Mile. This was a BIG mistake, here I am sitting in a room with 6/7 boys including Wardy and this film is about 2 things: nakedness, and sex. Not a good idea I will tell you! I was a very, very embarrassed girl. Anyway a few people came and went during the 2 films and by the time the second one had finished it was about 12 oclock and the last person left. Then Darren decided to go to bed so Wardy and I just chilled out for a bit and watched some tv. It was very, very nice :] Went home about half 1 very happy and smiley after spending some time chilling out with him.

So yeah that’s all I have to update right now. This entry has been full of smiles and happiness which is always good.

A good start to 2007 all round :]
